Description: As part of building healthy habits, it's important to always read the labels on food products before eating or drinking them. Pay special attention to the sugar content mentioned—sometimes, even items that seem healthy can contain high levels of sugar! Today in Goswami's Moms Pride School, the students were told about the importance of reading the labels of different food items and the quantity of sugar present in different food items. Also, the students were told about sugar related diseases and they were told to avoid sugar. Too much sugar in your diet can be harmful. It may lead to serious health problems like: •Diabetes •Obesity •Tooth decay •Heart disease •Fatty liver disease Many packaged snacks, cold drinks, and sweets have hidden sugars, so it's important to stay aware and make healthier choices. The students were also given project work in which the following task were included:- 1. Sugar Intake Chart: For one day, write down all the food and drinks you consume. Note the amount of sugar (in grams) for each item by reading the labels or searching online. Make a colorful chart showing how much sugar you had in total. 2. Write about a Sugar-Related Disease: Choose any one disease caused by high sugar intake (e.g., diabetes or tooth decay). Write a short note about: •What the disease is •How sugar causes it •How to prevent it. Stay smart, stay sweet — but not too much! Let’s be mindful of what we eat and build a healthier future.
